Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 30 June 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using Vastrox Services. It exists to protect our customers, our network and the wider internet. By using the Services you agree to this AUP, which forms part of our Terms of Service. We may update it as needed; the current version always applies.

1. Prohibited content

You may not use the Services to store, host, transmit or link to:

  • Content that is illegal under applicable law, or that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — this results in immediate termination and reporting to authorities;
  • Content that promotes violence, terrorism, or unlawful discrimination;
  • Malware, viruses, exploit kits, or phishing pages;
  • Fraudulent, deceptive or counterfeit material.

2. Prohibited activities

  • Spam & bulk email: sending unsolicited bulk or commercial email, or operating mailing lists without verifiable opt-in consent.
  • Network abuse: denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks, port scanning, intrusion attempts, IP spoofing, or any attempt to breach security of any system.
  • Cryptocurrency mining on shared hosting, reseller hosting or game server plans is not permitted. (Dedicated VPS plans may mine only within their allocated resources and where lawful.)
  • Resource abuse: activity that degrades service for other customers, or that exceeds the resources allocated to your plan.
  • Open services: running open proxies, open relays, open recursive DNS resolvers, or anonymisation services used for abuse.

3. Resource usage

Shared and reseller plans operate in a multi-tenant environment. You must not use a disproportionate amount of CPU, memory, disk I/O or network capacity. Where "unlimited" or "unmetered" is offered, it is subject to fair use and the genuine needs of a typical website; it does not permit using an account as bulk storage, a backup target unrelated to a hosted site, or a content distribution farm.

4. Email and anti-spam

You are responsible for all email sent from your account. You must comply with anti-spam laws (such as GDPR/PECR and CAN-SPAM). Repeated spam complaints or blacklisting of our IP ranges due to your activity may result in suspension.

5. Security responsibilities

You must keep your software (CMS, plugins, themes, applications) updated and secure. Compromised accounts that are used to send spam or host malicious content may be suspended until secured.

6. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, throttle, suspend or terminate Services, with or without notice depending on severity. Serious violations (such as CSAM, active attacks, or activity creating legal risk) may result in immediate termination without refund and may be reported to law enforcement.

7. Reporting abuse

To report a violation of this AUP, contact abuse@vastrox.com with relevant details (URLs, IP addresses, headers, timestamps). We take abuse reports seriously and respond promptly.
