Every kind of 7 Days to Die server

Adaptive features

Tuned for 7 Days to Die, out of the box

Sized for horde nightA 7 Days to Die server idles gently for six days, then the blood moon keeps BloodMoonEnemyCount zombies alive for every player online and sends all of them pathing through fully destructible buildings at once. That spike lands mostly on one hot thread, so we run high-clock cores that keep day seven playable instead of a slideshow.
The whole serverconfig.xmlBlood moon frequency and horde size, MaxSpawnedZombies, day length, loot abundance, zombie run speeds and land claim rules all live in serverconfig.xml. The panel exposes the full file, not a cut-down preset list, so the server plays exactly the way your group wants.
Darkness Falls without the forum diveOverhauls like Darkness Falls and War of the Walkers drop into the Mods folder over FTP, and server-side XML modlets load with no client download at all. Automatic backups snapshot your save first, so trying an overhaul never bets a hundred-day world on it.
DDoS ShieldEnterprise-grade protection, always on.
Auto BackupsDaily backups with one-click restore.

7 Days to Die Hosting Questions

Everything you need to know about Vastrox hosting, VPS, and cloud infrastructure. Can't find your answer? Our team is here to help.

Popular:

Yes. BloodMoonFrequency in serverconfig.xml sets the cadence (default every 7 days), BloodMoonRange adds random day variance so horde night stops being predictable, and BloodMoonEnemyCount sets how many zombies can be alive at once per player during the event, with MaxSpawnedZombies as the overall cap. Set BloodMoonFrequency to 0 and hordes never come at all.

For overhauls, yes: Darkness Falls and similar mods must match the exact same version on the server and every client, and clients need EAC disabled to load them. Server-side XML modlets are different: they live only in the server's Mods folder, push their changes to clients automatically with no download, and work with EAC on, which makes them the easiest way to tweak loot, spawns and vehicles.

Minor patches usually carry saves forward, but The Fun Pimps recommend starting a fresh world on major releases because world generation and progression change underneath the save. You control when the server updates, so finish the run first, back up the save from the panel, then move to the new version.

Instantly. Your 7 Days to Die server is provisioned automatically the moment payment clears, usually online in under 60 seconds with full console access.

Always-on, enterprise-grade DDoS protection is included on every game server at no extra cost, so your players stay connected under attack.
